Belltown Garden Tour

co-sponsored by Sustainable Belltown and Belltown Community Council

Last year, we created a tour of great public, private and institutional gardens in and around the edges of Belltown.

our tour was so successful that, with a limit of 20, some were not able to join us.

This year, we have created three separate tours to accommodate everyone.

Saturday June 26, 2010:  meet up at 12:30.  Tour begins at 1pm. and end by 4pm

Tours and refreshments along the way are free of charge

The tour begins at 12:30 pm Sharp at the Bay Vista condominium and we'll break into our groups.

From there, folks are off to the Butterfly House, the wildflower meadow, P-Patch etc. for private tours by the gardeners and horticulturists who help our neighborhood toward sustainability.

The tours are free, and meeting the neighbors in the gardens is awesome!

Relax with a drink and talk with neighbors and experts.  The question of transportation sustainability is more than "How do I get there from here?"  It's "How would I like to get there from here?"  Communities all over Seattle are re-visioning what type of transit would work best for them, and what type of Street, path or trail would make their commutes, errands and journeys safer and more comfortable.  Engaging with planners and visionaries is our next step in community choice!
